About The Studio

Every space has a purpose. Our work is rooted in creating interiors that feel warm, functional, and thoughtfully considered—spaces that support real life while presenting with intention.

Whether preparing a home for the market or designing a space to be lived in and loved, we focus on balance, flow, and the details that shape how a space is experienced. Each project is approached with care and clarity, blending elevated design with a sense of ease.

The result is interiors that feel refined yet approachable—designed to live beautifully, without feeling overdone.

Our Founder

Studio Yarbrough was founded on the belief that well-designed spaces should support how people actually live. Every project begins with intention, considering how a space is used, how it feels, and how it evolves over time.

My connection to design began early through hands-on DIY projects in my childhood neighborhood of Yarbrough. Those early experiences shaped an appreciation for reimagining interiors from the inside out and for the quiet power of thoughtful change.

That perspective has been refined through world travel and exposure to global design cultures. Places like Medellín, Colombia, with its layered textures and seamless indoor-outdoor living, and Beijing, China, where historic form meets modern precision, continue to inform my approach. These environments reinforce the idea that great design is contextual, expressive, and deeply connected to how people move through space.

Today, that blend of early influence and global inspiration defines the work of Studio Yarbrough. Led by Tony Hunter, a licensed Realtor and Interior Designer in Washington, DC, the studio merges design and real estate insight to create spaces that feel elevated, intentional, and distinctly livable.

“Design should feel considered, livable, and grounded in how people actually use their space.”

— Tony R. Hunter, Founder & Lead Designer
